A Rushlight Club Publication Commemorating the 75th Anniversary of the Rushlight Club.
The Rushlight Archives DVD contains digitized images of club’s publication The Rushlight from Volume 1, Number 1, published in November of 1934, through Volume 72, Number 4, published in December 2006.
Over four thousand pages of The Rushlight on the DVD concerning the history, development and application of lighting devices, lighting fuels and lighting accessories are presented in an easily readable and searchable form.
Comprehensive subject, author and illustration indexes on the DVD allow the user to go directly to the page of the selected item.
Pages may be viewed at various fixed image sizes or sized to fit the display window.
Individual pages may be conveniently printed via an on-screen print button.
Included on the DVD are suggested articles covering major lighting categories and animated 360 degree views of eleven historic lamps.
The Rushlight Archives DVD - Minimum Computer System Requirements:
- PC with a 500 MHZ Pentium processor or equivalent
- 128 Megabytes of RAM
- 800x600 Display (1024x768 or higher recommended)
- Microsoft Windows 2000 or later operating system
- Microsoft Internet Explorer Ver. 5.5 or greater
- Javascript enabled in Internet Explorer
- Macromedia Flash Player installed and enabled
- DVD ROM drive
- Internet connection (required for Rushlight Club website access only)
The Rushlight Archives DVD runs and displays the images using your internet browser (Microsoft Internet Explorer). The DVD requires no installation and does not write any files to your computer. Please insure that your computer meets the minimum requirements before attempting to run the DVD.
